Our Fundraising Process


Our Process Normally Yields 50% to 75% Profit for the Fund-raising Organization
There are numerous ways to use Jubilations Cheesecakes to raise money for your organization that can earn you top profits. We have detailed the two most common types of fund-raisers that are used with our cheesecakes by groups all over the USA, along with examples of how much profit you should be able to earn.

The Personal Delivery Method
This is certainly the most successful and most commonly used method to raise money with our cheesecakes. Jubilations prints order forms for your group’s members to use for selling our cheesecakes. The order forms are printed with a photo of our cheesecakes and a list of probably about 5 or 6 flavors that you have chosen to sell. Your group’s members sell the cheesecakes to family, friends, and other supporters of your organization in advance for a period of 2 to 4 weeks. After the selling period is over, the head of the fund-raiser tabulates all of the orders and places one large order with Jubilations. Payment is sent to Jubilations. After receiving payment, Jubilations ships the order by truck. (View Our Delivery Process) If you are close enough to Jubilations (Columbus, Mississippi) to pick up your own order, you can do so and save the delivery charges. Once your order has arrived, have each of your sellers pick up his or her orders and deliver them promptly to their buyers.

How Much Money Can You Make Using the Personal Delivery Method?
Most fund-raisers using this method earn $7 to $12 profit per cheesecake, depending on the selling price set by the group, how many cheesecakes are purchased, and where they are delivered. We recommend you sell for $24 to $28 each. If you had 30 sellers in your group and each sold 10 cheesecakes, your sales would be 300 cheesecakes and your profit would likely be well over $2,000. Or, if your group has 500 sellers and each sells 5 cheesecakes, you would likely generate over $20,000 profit.

The Mail Order Method
Jubilations has been in the mail order business for a long time. We use shippers like UPS® to ship our cheesecakes for next day delivery right to the doorstep of the recipient (in the continental US). You can see our individual shipping package in the rotating photo in the left-hand margin. Particularly during key holidays - Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas - our cheesecakes are a very popular gift item. If you plan your fund-raiser during one of these periods, you can offer the mail order option to your supporters. For example, one of your members has a father who owns a bank that sends gifts to each of its big clients at Christmas. (Many banks call Jubilations for this now.) The banker can buy cheesecakes from your fundraiser and you can have Jubilations ship them to each of the bank's clients. The process works much like the personal delivery method outlined above, except after you turn in your mail orders to Jubilations, you don't have to receive any cheesecakes because Jubilations has UPS® or another similar carrier do the delivery.

How Much Money Can You Raise Using the Mail Order Method?
Jubilations will charge your organization $40 for each cheesecake it mail orders for you, depending upon which part of the USA being delivered. If you were to sell for $49, you would make at least $10 profit per cheesecake. If you research the Internet for mail order cheesecakes, you'll find that $49 is quite competitive with other mail order cheesecakes. Oh, and we should also remind you that Jubilations cheesecakes are higher quality, better tasting, and normally larger than other cheesecakes available by mail order. So, in our example above, if you had 25 members who each sold one business 30 cheesecakes, you'd earn over $8,000 profit!

Use Both Methods!
We have experienced many organizations that have used both of these fund-raising methods at the same time. Jubilations can customize your selling sheets so that offering both delivery methods is simple. How much money you can raise is really up to you. We have been amazed at the results we've seen many organizations achieve.
